Default Finding the correct Inlet Manifold for my x250 3.0d

Hey guys, it seems like my inlet manifold on my 2013 Jaguar x250 has a small fissure and needs to be changed. I'm wondering where's the best place to buy a replacement in Europe and if I should consider getting one that's been used in another car.

Second question. How would I go about getting the exact car part name for the left inlet manifold of my car?

I appreciate any answer I can get!

Here ya go: https://partsfan.com/jaguar/ww/1689/...40/1791/13553/
Shows both left and right but # 1 appears to be the left side, if so it's one of two part numbers depending on your VIN.

Don't buy a used manifold, as these have been modified so they don't split again. They sell on UK Ebay for about £220

I appreciate the help. Thanks! I assume I need to buy the injector o-ring (I believe this is how they are called) but apart of these o-rings, I don't see anything that would require a swap. Since I'm working on this section, is there anything else I should swap out?

Second question. Should I do both manifolds or hold off until the other one cracks?

Thanks!

Check the condition of the rubber too. If you're buying the injector seal kit it should all be included. Expect to take all day to change the manifold & TBH, change both while you're at it, as the other side often fails during the next 6 months (so I've been told). I changed my n/s one only for the o/s one to fail on the test drive . . . begin again !

Hey Robinus, thanks for your answer. I was actually thinking of changing both of them since I'm at it. Got the seals already they are basically small metal o-rings (https://www.autodoc.co.uk/bosch/758825)

When you say rubber, what are you referring to?

Ok, you just bought the seals. The seal kit includes the o-rings & bolts.

I recently replaced the RH inlet manifold on my XF 3.0 diesel 2011. I made a smoker from a paint tin and soldering iron with a towel soaked in mineral oil. The crack was at a plastic weld at the outer back on the #3 cylinder area. I bought a genuine jaguar replacement part and had it shipped to Australia. I put the car on ramps. To remove the fuel injectors I screwed a 14 M fine thread nut onto the injectorI thread and then attached a long 14M Fine to the nut. With some torsion and traction all the injectors came out easily. Its REALLY helpful to remove the cross engine fuel line that goes to the opposite rail and also the high pressure fuel line that comes off the high pressure fuel pump. These get in the way and its not good to bend them too much. Also removing the bulk head lateral to the EGR unit is very helpful as there is an impossible to reach bolt that holds the fuel rail bracket to the EGR. The EGR valve vacuum valve also gets in the way and is difficult to remove. Loosen and actually REMOVE the manifold retaining bolts when removing and installing the manifold.

Apart from all that its a piece of cake but set aside the whole weekend including a dismantle session on Friday nite !!
