Default My first Jaguar has a dash of trouble

Hello to all. I'm new here so please handle me with care.
At the tender age of 56 after many years of admiration, I've just purchased my very first Jaguar. It's a 2009 XF SV8 and has been very well looked after by the previous owner. The only problem is the common one of dashboard leather shrinkage near the centre speaker. I have the technical ability to dismantle the dashboard and remove the upper section for repairs but I'm curious to know if anyone has successfully re-streched the leather and attached it back where it belongs?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nice XF and Welcome!
Many have done exactly that with re gluing and then stapling, just look through the post or do a search. My whole dash was replaced under the Takata passenger air bag recall.

They replaced the entire dash? Is this on everyone? We had it done on my 2012 XFR and my dads XF, and I didn’t notice.

Out dashes had zero issues though.

Thanks for the advice. I will search around where you recommended for more information and see what has been discussed previously.

Good to see someone else from l'il ol' Adelaide, not many of us around here and very few with XFs (although I've now got an F-Type after previously having an XFS then an XFR).
