Default Fuel pump relay location? XF SV8

I was tempted to title this thread 'Dead again'. My 2008 4.2 SV8 died without warning 400 meters from home yesterday afternoon. A friend came and we towed it the rest of the way home and it is, once again, parked up in my shed. I had just filled the car up from about 1/8 on the fuel gauge, did not quite make it the 8km home. One of the possibilities in my mind is dirty fuel as this happened just after filling up, but of course another possibility is simply that this is the least reliable vehicle I have owned in my 40 years of motoring.
I removed and charged the battery overnight as I had done a fair bit of cranking trying to get the car going.
Reinstalled the battery this morning.
Checked for fault codes- there are none.
I have removed the fuel filter and drained it into a clean glass- the fuel looks clean and there was no visible water present after letting it settle in the glass for an hour.
Went to pump some fuel from the tank into a glass by cycling the ignition on; the fuel pump is not running.
The fuel pump fuse in the rear fuse panel is intact.
My next step is to check the fuel pump relay but I am having trouble locating it. Hoping someone can point me to where it is please. Workshop manual says 'rear junction box' but I am hoping for more specific information to find it. I assume it is one of the relays on the same panel as the fuel pump fuse in the boot (trunk) but which one?

A little further on this- I located the fuel pump relay thanks to a youtube clip- it is the middle of the three relays at the bottom of the rear fuse panel. I have removed the relay and bridged the power terminals and the pump still does not run. Also confirmed that there is battery voltage across those terminals.
I've removed the rear seat base to access the fuel pump wiring harness connector (only way so far that I have actually gained money with this car- I'm now in front by 40cents Australian and one mystery Asian coin. And a biro.)

With the relay terminals bridged, there is battery voltage to the brown/yellow wire at the fuel pump. So it appears that the pump has died.
Any further troubleshooting advice would be welcomed. I'm about to have another scan of the workshop manual re the fuel pump unit, and a web search for prices. yippee.

One further question; I want to remove the fuel pump but when I disconnect the fuel feed pipe at the top of the pump, fuel flows out as the tank is full. I plan to try tilting the vehicle- i.e. jacking up and blocking both right-hand wheels- but is there a better way to go about removing the pump with a full tank? I want to avoid siphoning if I can. Also I need to get the fuel tested to establish if contaminated fuel has killed the pump. Dealer price is just over $1k.
