Default Headlight adjustement....

I have an 2010 XFS. My xenon lights are aligned perfectly.. but on one side the highbeam is pointing wayy down...
I know you can adjust the beams but I thought both the low and high beams share the same height adjustement.. the hid light , on one side, is pointing where it should, the highbeam is not... Anything I can do about it ?? Thnx...

The high beam is mainly the other (halogen) globe, supplemented by the xenon (HID) globe.
Yes, the headlight height adjustment moves the whole cluster so both low and high beam move at the same time.
I would guess that the low pointing high beam on one side is caused by the halogen globe on that side not sitting in it's mount properly.
Take it out and refit it and see what happens.

Which side is pointing down?
I see this with the headlight on the side of the car towards the center line. This is the left hand light in the US. Is pointed lower from the factory to help prevent blinding on-coming traffic.
Perhaps this is what your seeing?

I got into this what I upgraded to LED headlights. Depending on what market the lights were for either the left or right side was aimed lower.
So I had to make SURE that I got the light for the correct market. This is not changeable unless the entire light can be disassembled. And so far we don't have a reliable method to open these later model Jaguar head lights.
Older models like the S Type we did so you could mix and match what you wanted and then reassemble.

It's the passenger side. On the right.. but the hid beam is aimed correctly.. it's the high beam only that is pointing way down..
