Default Headrest Decals

I've just bought head-rest decals as I like the signs on Audi (and couple other makes headrests), but they tend to be stitched in.

Before I fit them has anyone else done so? And can they tell me if they look the part or, if they look as cheap and stuck-on as they actually are?

Or if I went to a normal stitching place that usually does t-shirts, or things like that, do you think they'd be able to do anything with my headrests.

Had the same problem….went ahead and put them on……been on for several years and still look like new. Yes, they do look like add-ons but still look unique and have had no negative remarks..only one positive one from my daughter-in-law as she swept her hand across the surface. They go by pretty un-noticed for the most part….like they belong. Besides, if you really don't like them, they come off easily I am told without effecting the leather. BTW…mine are silver/chrome leapers.

Ok…..I tried to take photos while the car was parked in the garage…..tight fit. Remember, these are just very sturdy chrome colored decals that stuck on tenaciously. I wasn't sure if I would like them and was ready to take them off. But I got lazy and got used to them. And like I said, they seem to go un-noticed so I assume that people think they are original….lol ! Also keep in mind that my interior is charcoal…everywhere, not black.

Thanks for the pics. Definitely not subtle - but I quite like the look. I can see how stitched on would be preferable (but more permanent of course!)

The leapers would probably look good on the back of the headrest facing the passengers.

Ahhh a unique request - decals for the headrest - I do not like the jaguar leaper but thought the circle growler would look more distinguished.

What sort of place do you reckon could stitch something in? If I took my head rests into an embroiderery/stitching type place would they be able to do anything do you think?

I know this is a bit of a strange question but there is just something I really like about the stitched or inbedded logo's on some cars headrests (to the extent I nearly bought an Audi S5 instead of my Jag) I'm not sure about the decals I got of ebay they just look kind of like stickers and not like they were made like that/original.
