Jaguar XF 2008 differential

Hello.
Just bought myself an Jaguar XF 2008 2.7D 152kw.
Second day i heard some noises from rear side and it started about 70km/h.
Probably its my differential, and my question is: Does 3.0D 2009 differential fits to 2.7D 2008?

dont know so much about Jaguar's so i appreciate your help!

Start by changing the fluid. Get the factory fluid from the dealer. Save what comes out to examine it carefully.

If metal iis n the old fluid, you’re screwed and save the new fluid for a new diff. If fluid is ok, and new fluid fixes the noise, you’re golden.

Any chance it could be a wheel bearing and not the differential?

I thought I had a bad differential on my '09 XFSC and was really worried that it would cost $$$$'s to fix, considering that the diff is not readily available. Turns out I had a bad wheel bearing. $300 later and the car was back to her quiet, restrained self. Check wheel bearings first....
