Default Kia Optima really ripped the XF right off?

I just noticed that the KIA Optima seems to be a blatant rip off of the xf.. Im sure this was covered before but wow its so obvious.. Hyundai are doing the same thing with Mercedes these days.

I have a friend with a Hyundai that has almost the exact same rear and damn near the same profile too.

What about the Tesla Model S...well this compares to an Aston but I actually thought it was Jag on first look.

The XF is pretty derivative itself and tends to look like a modern everycar, so claiming Kia is ripping anything off is a bit rich.

I think that many miss the subtle styling cues that the Jag has. On first look yes, the XF resembles many other cars, but a Jag catches your eye for a completely different reason than a Kia or a Mazda. Those two aren't even in the same class of vehicle, so the comparison is not valid. I for one did not like the new style when it came out. I also thought that the styling was pedestrian, but the details in the styling become apparent the more you look at the car and you cant help but look at it, so there is something at work there.
