Looking for a GOOD Factory Service Manual
I'm searching for a GOOD FSM for my 2015 XFR-S. I bought one online (eManual Online) but it was hot garbage. The only way to find anything was to cntrl-f it and wade through over 7k pages. The diagrams sucked and the page layouts were horrible.
I don't mind paying for one, but I expect it to be easier to use than just a massive PDF file.

Sounds like you did get the factory manual?
Yes they are huge and not very good in my opinion. Very cryptic instructions at best.
But nothing in the aftermarket is even close. In fact I am not sure there is any aftermarket manuals out there?
Is your PDF searchable? The one I purchased on EBay is.
That cuts down the time to find things a bunch. I also find a tremendous amount of duplication especially the silly safety stuff. It's just repeated over and over and over again.
How many times do we need to read that only properly trained service people should attempt any of these repairs??

I've found a few. The closest I could find was a 2010 XFR 5.0 S/C manual. It's not too bad I guess. It's a .pdf with bookmarks and is searchable. I'm just trying to replace a motor mount, and I'm guessing the A/C Compressor needs to come out. It just says to reference the A/C system. It's the left side mount.
I can't seem to find one for my car in this forum. Maybe I'm just blind. I'd be happy with one for the facelift XFR at this point.
That would be nice if someone could post a newer version. I can't even find a 2015 version to purchase. I thought I found one on ebay, but it was the 2008-2009 MY and didn't even have the 5.0 engine in it.

Since the 5.0L was used across most of the Jaguar product line. That section of the manual is pretty much the same.
The F-Type guys do have a few documents too.
This guy has shared a few here if your interested?

Been searching for literally days about this, lol.
09-10 5.0 s/c is available (but not 100% accurte for the facelift cars and the R-S)
13-15 stuff available for chassis but only with Diesel and non-V8 engines
F-Type stuff available, but not all engine stuff applies.
What do the dealers use?

Generally there is no separate manual made for cars of which they made just a couple hundred late in the production run. Especially not from Jaguar, who have trouble making usable manuals for even their most popular cars.

To answer your question the dealers use JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog) for parts. We have access to the older versions but now that access is shut off because of the ending of flash player. There is a very long thread on what everyone has attempted to get it working again. I currently do have it working using a virtual Win7 machine running on my Win10 computer. It was a battle to get it up an running! Search the forum for JEPC and you will find it. I have the last version released and it's dated sometime in 2018.
So your only hope are the on-line Jaguar dealers. Most have part diagrams but it's hard to find what you want without the dealers help and I think that is the point of the system they want you to call them with your VIN and buy your parts from Jaguar.
For service the dealers use SDD (Symptom Driven Diagnosis) and now that has migrated to Pathfinder. Again not for us shade tree mechanics but the SDD has been hacked and some of us are using that. I don't know if anyone has gotten access to Pathfinder yet? Compared to getting SDD working the JEPC stuff is a cake walk!!
Is there anything in particular your trying to do or find out?
