Default Which modules are on the network?

Dismantling a 2011 XFR and I have a cust. that wants the inside and rear fuse boxes. I know these parts are on the 'network' and will only work in this car or with which other parts? What other modules are programmed network specific?

Thanks.

Default Spoke with Jaguar and I am on my own.

I spoke with the dealer and a couple local shops about this and was told the main fuse panel behind the right kickpanel is the main communication module for the car. The dealer explained that the information I was looking for is proprietary and a shop manual was not available. This is one of the reasons it costs so much to fix jags.

Unfortunately there aren't many on the forums except for Jag techs that could answer your questions. The car is still too new and expensive so there aren't a ton of people tearing them apart.

Why do you think modules are network specific? How would Jag replace modules if one failed? You'd think they wouldn't be network specific.

Default Network

The service manager at the local dealer confirmed what a previous customer told me after purchasing both fuse boxes from a 2010 XF I previously dismantled. After installing both boxes in a flood car he was able to get light up the instrument cluster but the vehicle would not start. After further research and having towing the car to a local dealer in texas he was told his only option was to buy new boxes from Jaguar and have them programmed. They explained that many of the modules are connected to a network similar to a computer network and must be connected or they will not work.
