I have done something silly to my jag xf 09 , i had an issue with the tpms error that was showing on my front screen i decided to search on google how to reset jag xf system, the only videos came up was by holding the fog light button while having the engine on ignition mode, then releasing with trip button. But this resulted my odometer to disappear from the screen. Everything else is showing, the fuel gauge, the clock etc but no km/mpg displays. Its terrible not knowing how many kms my vehicle has. Any one know how to solve this issue ?

 

Maybe try the same thing again.

In the Land Rover family there's a concept of a "hard reset" whereby you remove the positive and negative leads from the battery and then bridge them for a minute (NOT THE BATTERY POSTS!) - there are similar ECU types in the Jaguars and this works for a number of head scratching issues in LR so worth a shot.
