Please Help. XF 2009 won't start with EPB engaged!
Hi all,
I have a Jag XF 2009. When I press the "start" button, it just cranks and does not start. But when I release the Parking Brake with the Brake pedal depressed, it starts up immediately.
The battery was due for a change when this problem started. But even with a new battery now, the problem has not gone away. I would greatly appreciate any views/advise on how this can be rectified.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum Ali,
I've moved your question from General Tech Help to XF and XFR ( X250 ) forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.
My approach would be to get a code reader on it to check for stored error codes. Unfortunately this means either the dealer or an Indy with similar Jaguar SDD diagnostics. Hopefully members here have come across this before and there is a simpler solution.
When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.
