Power loss 2014 xf 2.0 gtdi
Hi everyone, new member here. I am having some dramas with my partners xf with the 2.0 ecoboost motor.
Car was stolen and recovered a week later around 5 months ago. When we got it back had to replace all brakes but we noticed the car is just not what it used to be regarding engine/ gearbox performance. Seems to struggle a lot more then it should. When testing and pushing the car hard it seems to have a flat spot after 5000 rpm and holds onto the gear(thinking the gear change could be that it just can't get to the shift point). Manual changing seems fine.
So far I have changed the coils/plugs, cleaned maf sensor and done a transmission service.
I also have a mangoose cable and jlr software. The only current dtcs is one for the bcm where the vin was corrupted after water ingress.
I done a data log session and maf reading sits around 4 to 5 g/s on idle. Boost pressure gets just over 1 bar and fuel pressure varies with load but I seen it get over 2500psi on a data log session.
Does anyone have any recommendations to look at or some things to look at while data logging.
Thanks for your help.... Josh
