new diff

yes, I have had 2 new diferintals replaced in our 09 XF, both were done under warrenty. there is more info if you do a search on differintals on the site. I don.t know if the pinion was the problem or not, 1st one was a problem with a cleaning fluid left in the case, the 2nd was clunking on deceleration, and winning at 35 to 50mph. hope this helps.

How many KM or Miles were on the car when it was changed??

the first was at 44727 miles, a complete differential, and a drive line . the second was at 49674, and was just a R/R differential. Both times I could hear a faint clunk, and noise between 35-50 mph.
