Hello all I'm at my witts end as I've spent all day trying to access the remaining screws and electricals that are attached at the very back of the supercharger and upper manifolds in between the firewall and there is no room to do anything other than get frustrated with every possible attempt. If anyone has some pointers that would be smashing because between the giant plastic cover over a loom of wire and that stupid ugly hard black (I'm assuming it's a heat shield) I have no room to get any of the remaining hardware off.
Am I able to ever sp slightly hoist the supercharger and manifolds up to slide them forward slightly or is that as stupid of an idea as it sounds.
Any help and suggestions are welcomed and greatly appreciated
I would undo the 4 big bolts holding the crossmember a few inches, thus lowering the engine, then you can get to a lot more from above and underneath the car. They are long bolts but make you have an inch or so of thread still engaged. Be careful.
Probably can't get it this low but you get the idea I'm sure.

thank you i will give it a shot. First i will just remove one fully so i know how much i can loosen them off and still have an inch or so threaded and obviously the one i removed will be going back in
much appreciated
From memory I think you can remove the hard black shield from the top.
if you are referring to the hard black sheilding that runs across the firewall it has multiple connections that pass through it that would need to be disconnected first in order to pull it straight up and i can't get to them to release the clips
