Time For Service...Help...Tune Up Time...

I'd appreciate some advice. Back in March I purchased one of the first XF's in the US. I've been VERY fortunate and I haven't had to go to the shop…till now. I'll be going in next week for the mandatory recall.

In addition to the recall what else should I ask to be repaired or updated?

Is there anyway to make the touch screen faster or add a clicking noise to the turn signal?

Are there any special transmission or engine updates that will improve speed or performance?

So far I've been very lucky. Other than a strange noise that starts when I first move the car in the morning I've had great reliability. Based on the feedback from the forum the noise is from the ABS brakes and there's nothing I can do about it.

I'd appreciate any and all advice.

As for feedback after 9000 miles. I love the Car! I have the SV8 and I've never driven anything this fast. It flies. My biggest complaint is the touch screen features and the touch screen speed. Other than that it's been great.

Thanks!

Big Tex

one of the tsb's is for the instrument pack algorythm change, it turns down the volume on the seat belt warning, turn signal sounder, of which yours is not working and youll need another instrument pack and take all your keys for when the new instrument pack is reprogrammed. You could even call ahead and see if they have one in stock or itll be a wasted trip. We can program with mileage only the new XK, and XF, and others require Jaguar to burn in mileage on a new pack, and Aeneas NO YOU CANNOT program a pack with new mileage once it been done, or is an old pack. You can toss in the trash, so much for your conspiracy theory...We have 4 that have been mileageburned and for 1 reason or another, either the customer never returned or the pack mistakenly ordered, so we ate them..
