Transmission Fluid Change - 2011 XFR
Guys,
I have the parts for this job and originally intended to do it myself, however I am having second thoughts now, particularly as a result of the need to have the car perfectly level. I do not have a lift, so I would be doing this on stands and not excited about getting it up in the air to swap the pan/fluid and then dropping it back down cycle the transmission then put it back on stands again. Looking for feedback on how many people needed to add fluid after filling, then cycling the transmission?
Also curious how many hours the book calls for on this job, and what people have paid for this service.
Car has 66k miles.

In South Africa, ZF opened service outlets where all they do is service transmissions. I have a 2011 XFR as well and had mine done earlier this year. It only cost be around $180 for the entire job - that's labor, oil, new oil pan/filter and all 21 bolts. In fairness, they did have a special going and the usual cost was double what I paid. But having watched him do it and filmed him while doing it, it's not something I'd attempt myself. He shared quite a bit of information with me on this job.
