What do you think of this oil?
Milesyn SXR 0W20 API GF-5/SN Dexos1 Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5 Gallon Pail
It's API GF-5/SN, Dexos and WSS-M2C945-A spec which exceeds 925. Best of all it's $69.98 with free shipping on Amazon which is $3.50 a quart. I don't know what the rest of the specs are good or bad and am interested in feedback before I buy it. I just changed my oil for the first time yesterday and it was black so I'm going to do a couple more changes in the next few hundred miles to clean it up.

Does it meet the spec for your car in your geographic area? If yes, it's OK to use it (same as any other that does).

It meets WSS-M2C945-A, which is the main thing.
But I'm not so sure 0W20 is best for a 2011 XFR in a warm climate like Tampa, the Workshop Manual says: Description Specification Engine Oil - Vehicles built up to March 2014 SAE 5W20 WSS-M2C925-A Engine Oil - Vehicles built from March 2014 SAE 0W20 STJLR.51.5122 So 0W20 is probably OK but 5W20 would be better. |
