Welcome to the forums John,

I've moved your question from X260 to X250 forum. This is the one for the 2007-2015 XF/XFR model.

Throwing parts at a Jaguar soon becomes a very expensive method of troubleshooting problems. The logical way is to reach for a code reader before reaching for your wallet.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Get someone with an SDD (Symptom Driven Diagnostics) tool to look at it. There's plenty of diagnostics features and an experienced mechanic (go to someone who knows Jags) should be able to diagnose the problem.

I've diagnosed a thing or two with SDD and so far it's worked out great for me, but you need the proper software, cables etc.. so a Jaguar shop is the way to go unless you want to spend $$$ on something you might not need later on.

As GGG said, throwing parts at it gets expensive real quick.
