Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have ordered body parts for a XF or XFR. I'm looking for a hood and front bumper assembly for mine, I called the dealership in town and I cannot afford OEM parts, I believe the hood was around $2600 and just the plastic bumper cover was around $1600, not including the grills and small filler pieces. So I figured I would price out aftermarket/performance parts, like a carbon fiber hood. I found one on Ali Express but it's almost $2000 USD plus shipping and will take about a month to ship here, I'm in Calgary, Alberta. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

 

I would start checking with the local or nearby wrecking yards, eBay, etc. New parts are going to cost an arm & a leg + shipping. Isn't the car insured???

 

I actually checked all the wreckers across North America, there's a website that connects them so you can search their inventory. I managed to find a hood on eBay but with the cost of shipping I'm better off buying it from the dealer 😒 I bought the car with the damage and before I looked into getting replacement parts 🤪

 

Just curious, what year is your XF?
