XFR-S vs. F-Type R ???

Hi all - I had my heart set on finding and buying an XFR-S in French Racing Blue, but had a friend in need of selling a 2015 F-type R that was too good of a deal to pass up....so went with the F-type for now. I wanted to ask this group how much difference you think there is in performance between the XFR-S and the F-Type R given they both have the 550 ponies under the hood? Would be super cool if someone who owns or has owned both could provide a response! I think I love the look of the XFR-S in Blue better than I like the F-type I bought in Black....but the F-type may provide a more "race inspired" driving experience over the XFR-S. Anyway, look forward to any input on these two comparisons!

Just my personal opinion, I love the F-type but the xfrs makes more sense for me do to I can fit my family in it and it's easy to get out of and the pure beauty of it

You've already bought it, now is the time to enjoy your new car not compare its performance to other models..

You need both. The F Type is a single purpose vehicle. Same reason you need an alternate boat if you own a slalom boat. You can’t run the slalom course behind a pontoon but you also can’t take the family out on the lake on Sunday afternoon in a boat with 6” of freeboard.
