I had my car in the shop to install a backup camera and install a new headliner. After that, neither key fob works. I'm so frustrated. Any ideas?


Update:
Regarding the keyless entry on my 2009 XJ Vanden Plas, I found out that my mechanic said the car is signaling that something is open so the key fobs won't lock the car and set the alarm. All it does is beep twice for every button. They've checked all wiring from the installation from the backup camera and checked the work when a new headliner was installed. I even asked about a fuse someone mentioned.

This is the 2010 and newer X351 forum.

But If any electrical work was done like the backup camera I would at least start by taking it back to that shop and see what they say?
The two things don't seem to be connected and I would at least change the batteries first just to rule that out.
