Whilst trying to remove the bulkhead panel for some new spark plugs, I bested the release/lock flange on the connector for the engine harness to the ECU. As such, it seems the harness/connector is currently stuck to the ECU.

Is there a fix or part replacement for this, or am I looking at a new engine harness?

Is there a way to get the connector off of ECU without the lever?

Did you ever solve this, I just had the same thing happen today to my 2013 XF.

 

I was able to replace the connector. Here’s the Amazon link…AMP - TE CONNECTIVITY - 1452862-1...
it just zip ties in place

I can’t remember how get the broken one off. I think I just squeezed it to hold it in place to let the lever do its thing
