I just installed this new Cabin Air Filter in my 2013 XJ and highly recommend it. Click here: Amazon
At two for $13.99 delivered, plus tax, they're a real bargain. Yes, they're Made in China 🤮 but I couldn't find any that were Made in the USA.
This cabin air filter is a perfect fit for my 2013 Jaguar XJ. The factory retail packaging exceeded my expectations, with several layers of airtight plastic to preserve the charcoal. It appears to be of the highest quality. This review does not include performance. This is an easy DIY job that can save you lots of $$$. On a scale of 1- 10 with 10 being the most difficult, I give it a 3.
I removed the underdash cardboard trim panel to reveal the filter housing, unclipped the locking tabs at each end of the cover, and pulled out the old filter.
Next, I pressed the new filter into the back of the cover until I was snug and made sure that the airflow direction arrows matched.
It's really hard to see the little black plastic tabs that you slide the edge of the filter under to secure it to the cover.
I then slid the new filter back in with the arrow facing towards the passenger compartment. Be sure to push each corner in until you hear the latch click.
Reassemble the underdash cover by aligning it and pushing the 3 plastic fasteners back in to secure the cover. All done!
I made an appointment to see my back doctor tomorrow.
I don't buy crap. Money means nothing to me.
Time will tell your cabin stinks.
Your first mistake was equating the amount you spend to the quality of the purchase. Some of us prefer to spend wisely.
Your second mistake was annoying us with your arrogance and insulting other members' choices while providing little value to the collective knowledge here.
Care to try for a third? Maybe tell us how your oil choice is better and we are all fools.
I appreciate Stuart taking the time to share. Pretty sure most here do as well.

Thank you, Stuart S. I'm always open to finding a good source and saving a buck. I've been buying mine over the parts counter at my local Jag Dealer annually. Now I have some sage advice for an alternative.
