Is this a good deal?
I am in the market to buy either a 2014 or 2016 XJL. I recently spotted a 2014 XJL, 3.0 , blue exterior, London Tan interior, with 49,000 miles selling for $34,000 at a non Jaguar dealership. The dealership is one of the major automotive companies and not an independent "mom and pop" dealer. It looks in great condition. There's no accident on carfax report and the regular services were done on time.
Would you recommend purchasing the vehicle and buying an extended warranty with them or just buy from a Jag dealership? I would greatly appreciate all of your advise.

While I'm sure there are probably some wonderful Jaguars on the lots of non-Jaguar dealers, I personally would never take a chance on buying one other than from a Jaguar dealer. A CPO example from a Jaguar dealership will cost a bit more, but the CPO warranty will be far superior to any extended service plan offered elsewhere.

There is always a better deal. The key is if it's a good deal, and if you are happy with the car. I looked for this deal for nine months. Last fall I found a 2015 XJ with 1000 miles, certified preowned, I could've picked up for $48,000. However, I thought about it for a few hours and it was gone.
