LED High Beam Not Brigh Enough
Hi everyone,
I have a facelift XJ with adaptive LED lights and when they go into high beam, they are not bright at all, they are much dimmer than the low beam and they don't reach far at all. I've driven many JLR cars with led lights and the full beam is super bright and reaches very far away. Both lights turn on when I switch it to high beam, is it possible that not all the LEDs are turning on? Has anyone had this happened?
Literally there is not much difference when they switch on. Maybe only the "flashing" lights are turning on (the ones closer to the middle of the car) and not switching the main ones up?
Thank you!

I would check the aiming?
I upgraded my 2014 XJR to the later LED head lights. At first I was not impressed. BUT when I got around to marking my garage wall and placing the car in the proper position they were very low. Made a big difference when I raised them up some.
One key? When you drive the car at night leave the lights on bright. Do you get flashed by other drivers? I never did until I got them aimed.

The word "facelift" in the OP has me wondering if all the electrical leads have been correctly modified/spliced during the facelift.
Is this a new problem, or has the reduced high beam effictiveness occurred continuously since the conversion?
