Meridian 1500 Watt Speakers - Purchase
Hi all
I am looking for a place to go (other than the dealer) to purchase the following: X351 XJ Speakers: Rear door bass door speakers - “Special ones from the 1500W Meridian Signature system Plus : Midrange Speakers - either the earlier 1200W B&W system, or the 1500W Meridian Signature System. Please let me know if you have, or know of a place to get these? Thanks |
Unless an XJ with the Signature system ends up at a wrecking yard, you won't find these speakers anywhere except as a new spare part from a Jaguar or Land Rover dealer.
I can give you the part numbers if you want to check the new prices, send me a PM with your email address. |
I also called Meridian about getting replacement parts and they will not sell to the public and said only Jaguar can order them.

Checked with the dealer, and these speakers believe it or not are "very reasonably priced"!

The Meridian badge for the XJ front & rear doors is p/n C2D26253
The Meridian Surround badges have different part numbers depending on the VIN range. |

Nice! Hey would you ask your dealer if they can get the Meridian script that goes on the door wood next to the speaker? I have to replace my driver's door wood and I can't find one that comes with the correct script. I need just the regular "Meridian" word.
I will ask when I speak with them next Monday. ok? Stay tuned, and if you don't hear from me by Monday, please PM me. Thanks |

I bought my car used last year and the driver's door was mismatched. Why I will never know the dealership wouldn't say or didn't know. Finally it matches. BTW These are super simple to replace. No tools and no need to remove the door panel. Grip the front with both hands and carefully pry it away from the door. You can look and see when the clips come out. Once they do, slide it towards the front of the car and it comes right off. 5 minutes. |
