My 2014 XJ 2.0 slips backwards when I step off the brake
Hello everyone.
I purchased the car two months ago and ever since the car moves backwards if I step off the brake to the gas pedal on an incline as if a manual or double clutch automatic car does. I drove enough different torque converter cars to know that this is not normal. Please advise me what would be the problem? Thank you very much

It is but since the XJ NEVER applies it I don't find it all that useful.
I still don't understand why Jaguar did that? My old 2005 STR applied it automatically as did my 2003 Lincoln LS when the car was placed in park.
They must have had a reason maybe to prevent the EPB from sticking on?
