Just took delivery on a 2012 Supercharge to replace my 2012 Portofino that insurance determined totaled after a little fender bender.
The convenience lights are not coming on when any of the doors are opened. Although the puddle lights do when the car is unlocked. Any thoughts short of the dealer for inspection? I do have available a obd2 reader w/ limited programmability, maxidas702.
Are we talking about courtesy lights i.e. interior lights?
I remember if you hold your hand for some time on the middle interior light (up in the roof line), it will disable/enable interior lights. And I don't mean short touch to light up an individual light but longer hold on the middle light. Maybe yours are in disabled mode. Lights have Jaguar sense system or something,
Yes Pacer is correct you can read about this in the owners manual. Sounds like they have been turned off.
This is from the shop manual;
So give it a try and see if you get them back working. Note these are proximity switches so no physical contact is needed. I have turned them off and on but will say I never noticed the dash board message as noted above.

Wow, you drive a vehicle for years thinking you're in control and wah-lah. Thanks so much. Couple three winks and Bobs your uncle. Would love to get my hands on the manual any suggestions?
Log into Jaguarusa.com and once you get in (have to create a login), you can download an electronic version of the handbook. Some members may have the electronic version already. I want to say I have a 2012 and a 2016 version on my computer.
Glad it helped and yes over the years a lot of great information has been posted on this forum. I have almost always found at least something about the problems I was trying to fix.
Attached is the 2013 year owners manual. What I posted came from the workshop manual.
