? Can you not locate the battery? Check the rear cargo area under the floor near the spare tire, or are you locked out do the car? Your key fob should come apart and there should be a real key inside.

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.


The F-Pace Owners Handbook gives the warning that the battery must NOT be charged on the vehicle. Late model Jaguars have increasing numbers of sensitive electronic components which are easily damaged by incorrect charging.

If you need to boost start the vehicle, it MUST be done through the boost point terminals in the engine bay.
