Last Sunday I saw my first new XJ on the road on the M6 motorway as I was pootling along, and I have to say - it looked good ! It was a light colour but I cannot say what, perhaps a bit gold or sand coloured, I cant remember, anyway it flashed past me. For a car on sale here since May 2010, I have never seen one on the road until last , yet the other saloon, the XF, were soon seen everywhere when they went on sale for the first time.

It got even better in Leamington Spa, when I saw another, in black. However, this is near to the Jaguar main offices at Gaydon, so it was probably a senior director going shopping !!

 

Don't tell me we got them here in the Colonies before the Mother Land.

 

No kidding! I've seen them for months! But they are very uncommon, as are most XJs.
