Try pressing and holding the START button before you put your foot on the brake pedal.

Do not repeatedly press the brake pedal before you press the START button.

Let us know if that helped.

The fob sensor is located by the trunk release in the dash

Default 2012 XJL Will Not Start

Hey Guys

Had a low battery message. I was not sure if it was the original battery. Swapped battery car started up

2 weeks later the car would not start click click I replaced the starter and the car will not start

I was thinking I replacing the push button start? I replaced once before but I do not remember the circumstances

I was told there might be something in the back middle of the engine to check

Any thoughts

Thanks in advance

Chris .
