suspension fault
Hi
The amber suspension warning light came on twice today does anyone know what the exact problem could be? thanks shane |
dragonalfa, I get this periodically. I notice it more when the battery is slightly discharged. It seems the suspension computer doesn't really like changing voltages and if you have a battery that is starting to go or you have let the "start engine soon" message come up, you can get this message. I find that it will stick with the car, even with a restart, until the battery gets a full charge again. So, if you get the message, drive the car for say 20 minutes and then restart and this will normally cause the message to go away. I need to connect up my computer to see what specifically it is triggering on to see if there is something a bit more specific that I can figure out and if there is a more permanent fix.
Just for reference, I have a 2012 base XJ. |
Air Pump
I have had this fault and took it to the dealer, it was the compressor for the rear suspension (levels the car). $2000 later, the fault went away
