Default Voice Commands

I never hear anyone talk about the voice interface. It sucks. bad. I know. But does anyone use it at all? I tried it one time and it was so horribly designed that I haven't used it since.

I use it occasionally when in a lot of traffic and have to call someone. It is infuriatingly slow, but works.

What drives me crazy is having to confirm every command. It's like a 10 minute ordeal to place a call. I never use it anymore.

Yup, it's terrible, along with all the infotainment in the XJ.

Yes, confirming every command does drive you Crazy. I went crazy yesterday! And I spoke to soon so we both had to repeat.

I think you can interrupt the car response by tapping the button again and then confirming a little quicker. It comes in most handy when making calls and looking for an address or point of interest in the navigation. I agree though...who wants to go thru 4 prompts just to change the a/c temp? Lol
