Workshop manual for 2015 - options?
Hello, I would like to have a workshop manual for my 2015 even though it has two years of CPO remaining. I can see a couple of options : a few places sell the manual on PDF. There's also Alldata DIY, which is $29.95 a year for a subscription. Has anyone tried it? Any other options I've missed?
Thanks in advance, Mark |
I've used All data DIY for years and get a multi year subscription and has been very helpful. Also, have used Topix the official Jaguar repair site ( https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topix/user/loginForm ). There you register and can get some free owner repair/install info and you can get all the shop manual information on a fee basis, from an hour to longer periods.

Thanks for the reply. Has Alldata been OK for routine maintenance, covering things like oil changes and so on? If I'm going to DIY, another thing that's really helpful would be torque settings.

Never used All Data for routine maintenance as my dealer does that. but torques and procedures are there, but not all the wording on procedures are there, mostly illustrations from the workshop manual.

I purchased the complete workshop manual at https://www.tradebit.com/. do a search " Jaguar xj x351 workshop manual " and you will find your year. There are several pages and you need to get to the ones that are the factory manual that rande from $29 to $55 and say "THIS IS NOT GENERIC REPAIR INFORMATION! IT IS VEHICLE SPECIFIC. THIS IS THE EXACT SAME MANUAL USED BY TECHNICIANS AT THE DEALERSHIPS..."
