Default Breather Stub Pipes

I swear this will be my last individual question before I set up a thread dedicated to my car.

I was inspecting vacuum lines as part of checking out the rich running condition and when I pulled one of the breather hoses off and the stub pipe on the valley plate came out!

To get it back in do I simply hit it with a hammer (As it appears to be press-fitted) or should I go with a copious amount of gasket sealer?

I had the same issue and just put a dab of JB weld and pushed it back in. No issue with it yet. Was about a year ago

Got it! Did you press it in further at all or simply place it back in the hole with that dab of JB Weld? (Sorry for being so detailed)

Sorry I don't remember this. Seems like there was a rib on it that indicated how far to push it back in but not certain on that. I don't think its that critical?
