[QUOTE=SleekJag12;769436]No they don't. Although I believe they are OEM! QUOTE]

Hi Sleekjag12,

the thing is that I already looked at so many pictures on internet of xj12 1995 or 1996 and not a single car had these emblems on the wings... Not even on an 1995 or 1996 XJS.

I can hardly believe it is OEM...

best regards,

frederik

Those V-12 emblems are after market stick on fare.....

3D Badge V12 5 2 6 0 Emblem Logo Sticker Decal Chrome Logo Fender Side Trunk New | eBay

IMHO not very becoming on a sleek, stylish Jaguar.

[QUOTE=SleekJag12;767506]I like your new Jag Frederik! But I must see a view under the bonnet in order to believe it is indeed an XJ12! Are we masquerading?

Not to me either Frederik. Can't say I am familiar with those badges. Like Sleekjag I to would love to see the engine bay,any chance of an update? Found any other problems and are you USING this beautiful car? I keep going back and admiring those first pictures you posted. It is the best X300/305 i have seen by far.
Regards again,Neil

Hi Neil,
I bought the car in UK 2 weeks ago, for the price I paid it's like I stole it. Have done about 600 flawless miles so far. Inside it's almost as new, outside just some stone chips on bonnet! The car is amazing. I store it during the week and just drive it in good weather in weekend for fun! It was parked in the same spot for 6 days and not a drop of oil under the car, engine is completely dry... There are 2 problems so far:
- clock shows no digits, can be redone for £30 in UK
- when driving cracking sound through speakers, not when playing while parked, then sound is perfect

It has a dent in rear bumper chrome and some scratches on rear bumper. Already bought replacement chrome on ebay, bumper will be resprayed next month and new chrome fitted.
Wheels will be refurbished also next month...

What updated pics would you want to see of enginebay?

Best regards,

Frederik

With much heartache i'm puting the car in storage again tonight! I would love to drive to it every day! It is by far the best car I've ever driven! We leave on holiday for a few weeks! She will rest until august, and I will miss her. But my VISA card won't it is summer hot here and the old cat is very very thirsty!

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I have just joined the site having purchased a Double Six a few weeks ago. I seem to have the exact same V12 badges (but in a different location) stuck to mine, plus a Union Jack screwed on...
