I don't know anything about oil classes, but in doing some research yesterday I read some really good things about Texas Tea, a full synthetic brand I had never heard of. Someone on another forum submitted a sample to a lab for testing and it came back with very good results. I found it on Amazon.com where you can buy it in 5-gallon buckets for under six bucks a quart with free shipping.
I'm changing my oil this weekend and would have liked to have tried it, but I just learned about it yesterday and didn't have time to order it and get it in time. I did buy Castrol today instead, though it was that Edge stuff ($25 for 5 quarts at Wal-mart). I think I will try the Texas Tea next time, though, as I will be changing my own oil from now on.

bought the Castrol
As much as I respect your thoughts, I did a bit more research and even Amsoil's 'independent' analysis of the leading so-called 'fully synthetic oils' out there, the Castrol lead over Mobil 1.
So I bought the Castrol Edge Titanium 5w-30 @ 37.00 Cdn for the 4.4L jug
I'll let you know what I think after the install.
Thx again
