19" Jaguar Tobias Wheels & Pirelli Tires opinions please
I have an opportunity to purchase for my 05 Super V8 for under $900. 19" Jaguar Tobias Wheels and Near New Pirelli P-Zero Nero A/S tires.
The wheels are blemish free. The tires have about 4000 miles on them. I have the stock wheels on my 05 super v8 but they have blizzaks on them right now. I don't drive the car in winter. End result will swap the blizzaks in spring with the new wheels/ tires
My primary concern is a quiet ride at highway speeds. Obviously blizzaks are loud. Would appreciate feedback. Thanks as always.

Agreeing with Albert's post above; if the rears on the Tobias you are considering are 10 inch this may not work. I say this only because I have staggered xk rims 8.5 and 9.5 in the rear and there is not much room left over on my 05 Super.
Good luck, I would love to see this work, please keep us posted.

Thanks gentleman. I agree the 10" wouldn't work. I've already contacted to the seller and asked for the specifics on the wheel sizes, confirm they are or are not staggered, and tire sizes as well. Waiting on his reply. His ad indicated that he pulled them from a 2010 XJ and used them on his 04 XJR, so they are likely 8.5" width, but I clearly need more detail.
Oddly enough, my own repair manual offers no information on my 05 Super V8 OEM wheel specs (offset and center bore, width etc) so although it's -10 degrees right now, I'll need to pull the spare and measure as I'm not sure the 5 spoke stock wheel dimensions is but will verify it's 8 or 8.5.
I will report back.

Upon further review
Rears:10.0J x 19Ch x 46mm
Tires 275/40/19
Fronts: 9.0J x 19CH x 49mm
Tires 245/45/19[/QUOTE]
The owner indicated They bolted right on. No rub. There was only 10mm clearance to the inner fender well on the rears but other than that it was clean as could be. No change in handling. He said I was welcome to test fit them so I may give that a shot.

I've received a couple of PM's on this and in looking back, never closed it out. As that can be frustrating, and this won't be much help to those interested in putting Tobia wheels on, I elected to go a different route entirely.
I ended up going with 18" Tucana wheels and Michelin Pilots. Soft ride, I'm happy with my decision.

I have this setup on my '08 358R (19x10 in the rear, 19x9 up front). I will take some good pics this weekend and post the same (here is a really bad pic for now). No rubbing, no issues, ride is great. This setup came on my car, as the OE's were bent up at usual and the PO got these as takeoffs from the local dealer. 275/40's in the rear, 245/45 up front.
No weird pooch, etc.
I will yank the rear's and verify ET as well, but I was told they were pulled from a '13 XJ. Admitally, the fronts could use a 5-10mm spacer, but that's splitting hairs.
More to come.
Thanks,
Jeff

While I was on my way to pick up a set of Aleutians, I was hoping to find a reference or picture of a x350 car with 'new' generation rims. I recalled this thread, though I did not recall posting. It seems that my earlier post is not accurate.
Well, I am here to provide an update. Today, it is confirmed that 'new' Aleutians fit on 2004 XJR.
As stated above, there is only about a cm of clearance between the rear wheel and the wheel arch liner.
So far so good.
Did a short 5 mile drive with no issues.
-thanks
