2005 Jaguar XJ8L Passenger Side Light Confirmation
Hi. I have a 2005 Jaguar XJ8L, and I need a confirmation as to what this passenger side light is actually called. This light is located near the passenger door. I need to replace this light as it keeps coming off the body so I need to know what I will be ordering before I purchase it. Thanks.

Well, I was afraid of that. I just received what was supposed to be the replacement passenger side marker light for my 2005 Jaguar XJ8L, and it simply was not the correct light.
Well, I then glued a small piece of thin cardboard to the plastic vertical lip of the old side marker light, and installed it back onto the body. It seems to make a relatively snug fit, but the front part of the light is not exactly flush with the body. I suppose that it will just have to do for the time being.
I will likely have to send this new passenger side market light back to the vendor. Any thoughts?

I'm guessing the lamp you received is for the front bumper at end of chrome strip.The lamp you need is available because I ordered one last fall.They may call it a turn signal repeater?If I can find an invoice I will add it to this reply.They are called repeater.right side part# is c2c2046.$65.00 from dealer online.eBay may be cheaper.
