The mounting flanges of the factory bass speakers in the X350 XJ are the same dimensions as the X-Type, the X250 XF, and the X150 XK.
So if you get a speaker mounting ring for any of those models it will suit the X350 XJ

The factory bass speakers are 165mm size, so an aftermarket 6.5" will fit, if you have a suitable adaptor ring.

The factory bass speakers are 2 ohm impedence.

The factory speakers in the Alpine branded system are "not bad" actually, if you have the low-spec audio (no sub) then the door speakers are pretty crummy.

Sean, Partick - Thanks for your posts - I have no idea what the problem is; doesn't matter anyway - Cambo appears to have answered his question satisfactorily. I just typed Speakers and Upgrade into our forum's search engine (and pasted the address; it worked when I tested it?) and of course there were reams of pages of good advice available to the Poster!

Hopefully he will do a search himself because he may need to know about how our infotainment system needs to utilise a fibre optic connection if he wants to be able to use the car controls and screen?
