My 97 XJ6 has never had the transmission serviced with almost 195,000. My question is do I just changed the fluid and filter because of the mileage that leaves 20% or more in the converter or flush it to get it all changed? If this had regular service I would flush it but don't think it has ever been changed. Type fluid to use also? Thanks

 

Sorry OM, you're in the wrong sub-forum; this one is for the 2003-09 XJ, the X350/358.

 

With your mileage go for the complete service but anything is better than nothing at this point .
