Hi all. I am new to this sight but very impressed with the knowledge and experience you all share. I have a 2005 XJ8L with 50,000 miles on her that I have owned for 9 months.
I was driving home last night and my "Air Suspension Fault" indicator came on. The ride got rough and when I parked, the front end (both sides) had dropped very low but the rear was fine. Any ideas on what the problem may be? Thanks,

I replied your post in the General Tech forum.
As a 50k miler, I would not have thought one or both of the air springs have failed, but I suppose they could have. It's more likely to be a duff height sensor. Both front wheel heights are controlled together via one height sensor for your model year. My 2003 has two, so it's a puzzle to me how the software decides which sensor to use on the front !

Thanks Fraser. It will take me a little while to navigate this sight but I appreciate your 2 replies. I agree with you that having both air springs go at once would be unusual. The height sensor makes sense. Thanks again.
