Air Suspension Fault text is showing in the speedo along with the yellow warning lamp. iCarsoft 930 in the Air Suspension section gives error B1471 - Headlamp -open circuit/short to ground. The car was imported to Germany and needed the Euro spec headlamps. The original UK spec headlamps had 9 pins and the new Euro ones only have 6. This is because the new ones do not have the integrated self levelling feature. The new headlights work perfectly and the car has now passed the german TÜV (MOT) but I am puzzled by this error. It suggests to me that there is a control module somewhere which needs to be flashed and re-programmed for the new headlamps. Anybody had a similar problem with this B1471 error code?
