Settle a bet. Are the seats in my 04 VDP all leather or part vinyl?

Been wondering about that since I pulled-up the center console and the underside of the trimmings had a look of vinyl.

Update: I think the console is leather, looked at it a little closer and could not see the cloth backing that vinyl has.

I do believe the center console is vinyl but most of what looks like leather is real leather. this includes the backs of the front seats, I put a little gash in the back of the front passenger seat pulling a baby seat (grand child for the record) out and apond inspection it sure looks like leather to me. this is where most car company's cheat and use matching vinyl.

I say lets believe what we want to believe but in reality only the seat and the seat back is real leather...all the rest....Leatherette which is a nice way of saying Vinyl on the 2008 XJ8 VDP. As a matter of fact, even my 1988 XJ6 is the same way back then but sure looks good anyway

OK, get it from the horses mouth here:
BAS Jaguar Trim - About Our Materials

Jaguar uses Ambla, a special blend vinyl on certain areas that stretch is needed.

Not sure how relevant that info is, since it all refers to classic Jags, not modern models.

As far as I'm concerned, everything I can see is 120% Genuine, No-Nonsense, Doubt-and-you'll-find-yourself-sleeping-with-the-fishes, Leather™.
