Default Brake disc heavy yellow stains

Today I discovered the following on the rear brakes (front OK). Am I leaking brake fluid? How to clean it?? Please advise!

It looks like some liquid splashed on to the rotors. I don't think it's anything to worry about. The brake pads will clean those spots off pretty quick.

Hey, surely that is just surface rust after the car has stood a while whilst it has been raining heavily. Either that, or the caliper has seized so this surface rust is not being cleaned off at the first brake application. Does it appear on all the discs ?

Looks like surface rust. Most OE brake rotors are iron, they're devils for it but it's harmless. Application of the brakes should burn it right off.

Default Not a lot of rain in LA

It's rust or oxidation on the cast iron rotors. It will scrub off when driving.

Normal driving should alleviate those rust spots. They can occur even after a few hours of your vehicle sitting.
