GMCGANN noted a surging problem that is more like stabbing the gas pedal over and over, and reported a broken motor mount as the cause. I have had the IDENTICAL problem, except that my rubber duct would come clear from the throttle body, and that would be it. No satisfaction until I loosened the clamp and reaffixed the duct. I took to carrying a large blade short handled Craftsman screwdriver in the door pocket. Wife wouldn't ride with me any more. I thought it was a bad clamp, and a new one did help. Some. I thought of a broken motor mount, but the manual shows an electronic active motor mount that doesn't look breakable, so I dismissed it. Especially after a forum search didn't give me any joy, either.
Sitting here in my hotel room in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, so I can't run out and put my car on the lift right away, but I sure plan to when I get home in August.
Anyone else have motor mount issues?
