A/C Seat Fan Motors - Ford Part #?
Hello,
My pass side fan motor is a goner. Electrics are all fine and relays cycling per usual, but you have to spin the fan through the filter gauze to get it going, which only lasts a few revolutions and then dies again.
Question being, there are so many FOMOCO part numbers stamped under the seat, I gotta think that the fan and housing assembly is a fairly common Ford bit too.
Can anyone confirm that / direct me to a good cross reference? I can't read the part number on the fan itself as it's sandwiched between the carpet and the seat pretty hard.
i also had to laugh while checking fuses and curcuits, I found a 3.5" mini-disk taped to the back of the glove box (in that void where things get stuck), very James Bond style. I loaded in my laptop (expecting to see NSA secrets or Clintons e-mails), and it ended up being a crappy OBD scan software! Love it.
Thanks,
Jeff
