I'm having trouble getting the seat belt light to go out. It's intermittent, and I've traced it to the yellow connecter in the driver's side cabin pillar that allows what I'm told is the cabin harness to connect to the driver's side seatbelt pre-tensioner. Attached are pictures of the part. It's got a Ford Oval stamped right on it, and the p/n is 93BG14489 RB8.

I've come to this conclusion because if hold the connector steady in the pretensioner, the light will stay out, but if I move the connector, it comes back on. Also, I have a replacement pretensioner, and the same thing happens. If I am wrong, please tell me why and what to do.

My thought is that I now need to find someone with a wrecked XJ8 who will either cut the connector from the harness and sell me that, or who will sell me the entire harness.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on what to do and/or directions to anyone who might have this part or the harness. Thank you!!
