can't get air tubes off of air suspension compressor
I am trying to install a new compressor I bought from Arnott. They have a video that walks you through the R&R. It shows the guy easily removing air tubes by hand at around 3 minutes and 8 seconds into the video.
I am pulling hard on mine with pliers and am afraid I will break it. Am I fighting a vacuum? Is there an air release valve somewhere.
Why can't I get these off?
Any help is appreciated.

If I am watching correctly I think the mechanic is pressing in on the ring at base of connection before pulling the tube out?
Possibly wrong on that. That ring at the base of the tubing is some kind of grip/holder that sits around a raised ring on the tubing.
If it does not push in it might be that you have to pull it outward about 1/16" to 1/8" without breaking it and then pull the tube out.
I am guessing so hopefully some one knows precisely what needs to be done.
