Default Child Safety Seat Latch Covers

All,

My recent project of changing the parking system speaker in the rear deck lead me to another little thing I'd like to fix.

On the rear deck (above and behind the rear seat headrests) there are three plastic covers for the child safety seat latch system. On my car, these have gone brittle and are starting to crumble. I'd like to replace them. I had to remove them to get the rear deck out so I took some pictures while they were out.

The plastic parts are labeled Jaguar 2w93-613D78.

I searched online, but cant seem to find these anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get three of these?

Not available at your friendly dealers parts dept????
More than a few parts are no longer available.
Planed obsolescence seems to be everywhere.

They can be found.

I found one a while back for a heck of a lot less but black like the one above.

Have not gotten around to spraying it the color I want yet.

I purchased three of these about a year ago from forum sponsor: SNG Barratt.. I do not recall the price but I do recall thinking the price was not outrageous.

Best Regards, William

Yep, you're right! Thanks.

It seems to have a different part number (which is how I was searching) but it looks the same. $35 seems a little steep for a plastic part, but then this is a Jag....

Just in case others are also looking... A little follow up.

I used the part number I found onSNG Barratt to search online. Their price was actually one of the better ones I found. Ouch!

It seems the newer part number is C2C22456SEL

I also found another thread here with some more info:

I better glue my caps down before I lose one, or it's $35.00 because I procrastinated. We all know how procrastination costs us $ on these cars.
